CONVERSIONS: GOING CRAZY
Here's where the basics all go together. Now we can truly kick miniature
ass, grasshopper.
Go look at the Irdulan over there in
the WIP section. Ok, back? Well, this is one of its kids. It's made from a
fifty-cent plastic dinosaur body and an old Hivefleet Kraken space ship
from Citadel's Space Fleet game.
Here's what you get when you put Warpstone in Popeye's spinach. He's made
from the legs of a Steed of Slaanesh (1989), a Rat Ogre, a Kryomek head,
and a big glob of Green Stuff to hold it together. There was no real
transition between Rat Ogre and Steed legs, so from the mid-torso to the
crotch is all scratch built. The texture was done with brass rods pushed
into the epoxy.
Hey, my namesake demon from my RPG game! He's one I'm very proud of. I
hated the Nagash figure from Citadel and chopped it up big. His Torso and
arms were kept. The staff was cut down a bit, and his head was replaced
with one from an RAFM Firedrake.
The legs and tail are from a Ral Partha AD&D Molydeus demon. There's a lot
of fills to make it look like it was meant to be together. Also, the
winged demon holding the paint brush on the main conversions page uses the
leftovers from this one- Nagash's robe, and the Molydeus arms and head.
